Mustafa Şemsettin Şeniz
This collection comprises the personal and professional documents of Mustafa Şemsettin Şeniz (1889-1966), an architect of the early republican era who played a role in the building of numerous People’s Houses as well as primary and village schools. In addition to correspondence, daybooks, drawings and slides, the archive includes documents dating back to the 1840s. The collection is complemented by his father Ateşizâde Mehmed Bedreddin’s documents from the SALT Research Education Archive, who served as the head clerk of the Ottoman Ministry of the Education.
