A color-tinted postcard depicting the roofs of village buildings with hills and trees in the background. Text reads "Harpoot Set No. 23 Gurl juk Village and Lake," with lines in Ottoman Turkish and Armenian. "Your draft #31360 on the Wiener Bank Verein for £27.44 was received some days ago. Thanks for it." message on reverse is from D.J. Mattoou in August 1914 from Harput to W.W. Peet in Dersaadet American Inn, Bible House in Constantinople indicating receipt of a document.
