This collection consists of books, booklets, and pamphlets in Ottoman Turkish (Arabic script) produced and/or distributed by the publication department of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions (ABCFM), in Istanbul, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Besides works on religious topics for missionary labor, it includes educational and literary works, especially for children. The collection is held by the American Research Institute in Turkey’s (ARIT) American Board Library in Istanbul.
