Turgut Özal’ın girişimiyle hızlandırılan ve 1981'den 1990'lı yıllara kadar süren Ataköy Turizm Kompleksi projesi çerçevesinde gerçekleşen projeler arasında Ataköy Marina, Holiday Inn (Sheraton) Hotel Crown Plaza ve Galleria Alışveriş Merkezi gibi yapılar bulunmaktadır. - Accelerated by Turgut Özal and lasting from 1981 to 1990s, the Ataköy Tourism Complex project included Ataköy Marina, Holiday Inn (Sheraton) Hotel Crown Plaza and Galleria Shopping Center.
