Diyarbakır’da öğretmenlik yaptığı 1968’de, yurtdışında eğitim sınavını kazandığını ve İngiltere’ye öğrenime gidebileceğini bildiren mektubu aldı. - İsmail Saray was appointed to teach at Dicle Teacher’s College in Diyarbakır after graduating from Gazi Education Institute in 1967.
