Fowle about her administrative and financial detials about the station as well as the challenges Haskell faces, which are primarily financial and due torecent war. Also includes a lenghty correspondence primarily between Mellony Turner and Luther R. Fowle about Turner and a colleagues' return to America and the best manner by which to achieve this, given the additional difficulties posed by the war.
