Includes correspondence from acting treasurer Luther R. Fowle of Bible House and located at the Swedish Legation, to Bible House treasurer William W. Peet, temporarily working in Geneva (Switzerland), William Nesbitt Chambers of the American Committee for Armenian and Syrian Relief (ACASR) also working in Switzerland, and James L. Barton of the AB office in Boston (Mass.). Topics include Fowle's requests for information on relief accounts outstanding debts and salaries/expenditures for stations military destruction of mission property requests for Red Cross support and correspondence with the American Legation in Sweden. The Swedish Legation summarizes the needs of naturalized American Armenians who cannot leave Turkey and the American governments responsibility towards them. Barton writes about possible end to relief funding. Includes highlights of reports from stations and relief work with American funds. Fowle notes he cannot write freely due to military and government censorship. Many letters include financial accounting records. Note from cover: Relief correspondence. 1. Letters from L.R.
