The Great Wall of China, over 1.200 miles long, was begun abaout 326 b.c ., but the main wall was constructed between 220 and 210 b.c. By Shih-huang-ti, to protect his empire from the incursions of the Tartars of the north - Çin Seddi, 1.200 milden uzun, m.ö. 326 yılında yapımı başladı, fakat ana inşaasına m.ö. 220 ve 210 yılları arasında oldu. Shih-huang-ti, ülkesini kuzeydeki Tartar akınlarından korumak için yaptırdı.
