Bu fotoğraf Hüseyin Ağa Kireçhane Caddesi ile Keresteci Recep Sokağı'nın köşesinden çekilmiştir. Tavla Sokağı'nın başlangıcı sağ tarafta görülebilir. Eski mahalleyi temsil eden sağdaki tüm yapılar, Tarlabaşı kentsel dönüşüm projesi için kamulaştırılan alana dahil oldukları için gecekondulaşmayı önlemek amacıyla yıkılmıştır. Bunlar 21 numaralı Keresteci Recep Sokak (resmin sağ kenarında, Bülbül Mahallesi'nde), ardından 19-17-15 numaralı Keresteci Recep yapılarıdır. Şehit Muhtar Mahallesi'ne dahildirler. Arkalarındaki yüksek aypı ise eski İki Kardeş Apartmanı'dır (13 ve 11 numara, Keresteci Recep, Şehit Muhtar Mahallesi). - This picture is taken from the corner of Hüseyin Ağa Kireçhane Street and Keresteci Recep Street. The beginning of Tavla Street can be seen on the right side. All the buildings on the right, representative of the old neighborhood, have been gutted in an attempt to prevent squatters because they are included in the area expropriated for the Tarlabaşı urban regeneration project. They are numbers 21 Keresteci Recep Street (on the right edge of the picture, in Bülbül District), followed by buildings 19–17–15 Keresteci Recep (in Şehit Muhtar District). The taller building behind them is the former İki Kardeş apartment building (numbers 13 and 11 Keresteci Recep, in Şehit Muhtar District)
