Mukaddimât-ı ulûmu memleketinde gördükten sonra badehu Dersaadet'e gelip Otlukçu Yokuşu'nda Abdurrahman Efendi medresesine duhul etmiş ulûm-u âliyeyi bi't-tahsil 1285'de icâzetnâme 1289 tarihinde Dârülmuallimîn'den şehâdetnâme almıştır.
