Description
Ziraiden muhacir Mehmed Ağa'nın oğludur. 1299'da Çiryan kazasına tabi Enişteköy nam karyede dünyaya gelmiş (Hirebolu)da Karakuz Ağa Mektebinde tahsil-i ibtidâîyi gördükten ve rüşdiyesinden ve 1314 tarihinde şehâdetnâme aldıktan ve Kur'an-ı Kerim'i hıfza muvaffak olduktan sonra 1317'de Dersaadet'e gelip Merzifonlu Kara Mustafa Paşa Medresesine kayd olunmuş ve bir müddet ulûm-u arabiyye tahsil etmiş.
