Ecdâdının medresesinde Kur'an-ı Kerim'i hıfz etmiş ve badehu Dersaadet'e azimetle ammî nezdinde bulunarak ulûm-i âliyeden tekmil-i nesh eylemiş 1292 senesinde Dârülmuallimîn'e dahil olup 1296 senesinde bir kıta şehâdetnâme almıştır.
