Dünyaya gelmiştir. 1283 sene-i hicriyesinde Hezargrad İbtidai Mektebinde ve badehu rüşdiye mektebinde okumuş. Belgede geçen ilk ve son tarihler: 1275- 19 Şubat 1329 (Hicri takvime göre Miladi 1858/1859. Rumi takvime göre Miladi 4 Mart 1914). Mustafa Efendi (Hafız). Edirne'nin Ortaköy kazasına tabi Akçaalan Karyesi'nde tevellüd etmiştir. Kendisi fehul afradıdır. Sinin vefîre Edirne'de kain Çiçekli İbtidai mektebi muallimliğinde bulunmuş ve dersiâmlık vazifesiyle mükellef bulunmuştur.
