Ulûm-i ibtidâiyeyi maskat-ı re'sinde okuduktan ve hıfzını ikmâl ve tamam ettikten sonra 1307 senesinde Dersaadet'e gelip Zeyrek karîbinde Piri Mehmed Paşa Medresesi'ne kayıt olarak Sarf ve Nahvi tahsil eylemiştir.
