Ulûm-i İbtidaiye'ye memleketinde kâin ibtidai mektebinde tahsil etmiş. Ve kasaba-i mezkûredeki cami-i kebir medreselerinde müftü şeyh Hüseyin Efendi'nin dersindehazır bulunmuş. Ve ikmâl-i tahsil eylemiş. Maraş şehrine azimet edip Bayezid Medresesi müderrisi Şeyh İsmail Efendi'den ilm-i kelam ve usul tahsil etmiş. Ve Halep Maârif İdaresi'nce bilâ-imtihan itimatname almıştı. Arbekir'de Kemerekci Osman Paşa Cami-i Şerif Sıbyan Mektebi'nde ve badehu medresesinde ulûm-i ibtidaisine tahsil edip Dersaadet'e vürût etmiş. Dersaadet'de Şehzadebaşı'nda kâin Hasan Ağa Dârülhadis Medresesi'nde derslerine devam ederek icâzetnâme almış. Ve bu meyanda Dârülmuallimîn'de dahi tahsil-i fünûn edip şehâdetnâme istihsal eylemiştir. Belgede geçen ilk ve son tarihler: 1258-19 Eylül 1312 (Hicri takvime göre Miladi 1842/1843.
