Karye-i mezkûre Sıbyan Mektebi'nde mukaddemât-ı ulûmu görüp Sungurlu Kasabası'ndaki medresede biraz ulûm-i Arabiye okuduktan sonra Dersaadet'e gelerek medresenişîn olmuş ve bu sırada Dârülmuallimîn-i Rüşdiye'ye dahi devam ile âlî derecede şehâdetnâme almıştır. Kaza-i mezbur Sıbyan Mektebi'nde ulûm-i ibtidaiyeyi ba’de't-tahsil Dersaadet'e gelerek iki sene kadar Şehzade Rüşdiyesi'nde tahsilden sonra mülga Telgraf Mektebi'ne dahi bir sene kadar devam ile fenn-i telgrâfîyi amelî ve nuzurî görerek bilimtihan memur tayin olunmuştur.
