Selimiye Kışlası Aramsaz Altıncı Seyyar Topçu Taburu binbaşısı olup 1328 sene-i rumiyesinde irtihal ile Merkez Efendi'ye defn edilen Mehmed Şevki Efendi merhûmun halefinden 1289 Zilhicce'sinde Dersaadet'te tevellüd eylemiştir. İbtidâî tahsilinden sonra Koca Mustafa Paşa Mekteb-i Rüşdiyesi'ne kayd ve kabul ile bir kıta şehâdetnâme ahzına muvaffak olmuş. 1306 sene-i Hicriyesinde Fatih Cami-i nur-u lamiindedir. Burdurlu Hoca Mustafa Efendi'nin dersine devamla icâzetnâme almış. Ve 1321 senesinde Bayezid Cami-i Şerifi'nde tedris-i mübaşeret 1332 senesinde icazet vermiştir. Bidayeten mahal-i mezkurde İbtidâî Mektebi'nde bulunduktan sonra 1250 tarihinde medreseye devam eylemiş. 1260'da Dersaadet'e gelerek Irgat Pazarı'ndaki medreseye bi'l-kayd 1269'da icâzetnâme almış. Ve bu sırada Dârülmuallimîn-i Rüşdiye'den dahi şehâdetnâme ahz eylemiştir. Belgede geçen ilk ve son tarihler: 1240-1297 (Hicri takvime göre Miladi 1824/1825-1879/1880.
