Description
Muhacirin-i çerakesten Çökünler demekle maruf müteveffa Osman Efendi'nin oğlu olup 1265 sene-i Hicriyesinde Çerkestan'da tevellüd eylemiştir. Mukaddemat-ı ulûmu Tokat'ta bi't-tahsil İstanbul ve Beylerbeyi Rüşdiyesi'nden münteha sınıfına kadar terfi eylemişse de 1283'de Ankara'ya gitmiş. Ve muallimi-i mahsusadan arabi tahsil etmiştir.
