Description
Kudemâ-yı Nevvâbtan Mehmed Nazif Molla'nın oğludur. Konyalı'dır. (Hicri) 1289 / Rumi (1291) tarihinde İstanbul'da, Fatih'te, Hafız Paşa Caddesi'nde büyük pederi yine Kudemâ-yı Nevvâbtan merhûm Mustafa Şerif Molla'nın konağında dünyaya gelmiştir. İbtidâî ve rüşdi tahsillerini kısmen o zamanki mekteplerde kısmen de husûsî muallimlerden görmüş, muahhiran Mekteb-i Sultânî'ye girerek burada tahsil etmiştir.
