Evvelen Sıbyan Mektebi'ne devamla mukaddeme-i ulûmi ve badehu Kurân-ı azîmu'ş-şânı hıfz ile Sivas'ta Şifâiye Medresesi'nde nahve kadar ders görmüş 1314 'de Sivas Dârülmuallimîn'e devam ile şehâdetnâme almıştır.
