Köprü 1980'li yıllardan itibaren baraj suları altında yer almaktadır. 1980'li yıllarda inşa edilen yeni köprünün de sular altında kalmasından sonra, günümüzde aynı noktada yer alan köprü üçüncü köprüdür. - The bridge has been under the dam waters since the 1980s. After the new bridge built in the 1980s was also flooded, the bridge at the same point today is the third bridge.
