Heykel, sempozyum sırasında uğradığı saldırıdan sonra Mehmet Aksoy tarafından tekrardan yapıldı. 12 Eylül 1980 askeri darbesinden sonra Kenan Evren'in emri ile kaldırıldı. 2001 yılında Karaalioğlu Parkı'na yerleştirildi. - The statue was reconstructed by Mehmet Aksoy after being vandalised during the symposium. It was removed by the order of Kenan Evren after the September 12, 1980 military coup. In 2001, it was placed in Karaalioğlu Park.
