Transfer 146. From N to Z. Index No. 29. Pr
Creator
American Board. Office of the Treasurer
Description
Primarily includes correspondence with William Peet and Scheibel from Ida W. Prime (American College for Girls, Constantinople) about accounts, money orders concerning the College as well other missionaries. Also includes a letter from Prime (Constantinople, 1911 Jan 12) looking for work for a young boy "fresh" from his village and of "good stock."
Note
Includes two copies of the minutes adopted by the Prudential Committee Nov. 17 1885: "On grants to natives," "On contributions for objects not included in the regular Appropriations". Ida W. Prime asks the Bible House if they have spare wood boxes to facilitate the move of the prep school (Constantinople, 1910 Jun 21). She inquires whether there are new regulations over the "iradé question" after a delegate from their area was selected and suggested to press the issue (Constantinople, 1910 Oct 25). Prime also mentions that the trespassing problem on the Arnavoutkeui grounds has stopped (Constantinople, 1910 Nov 9) and that Mr. Kendell organized a demonstration over the weekend with "zeven lervat" to which no one attended.
