Note
In a letter to William Peet John W. Baird writes about a new urban plan for the mission land and attaches a draw plan. He questions such planning within "this haughty little empire (Samokov, 1910 Aug 18)." Later John W. Baird mentions epileptic grandaughter, Winifred, will go to a sanitarium in Philippopolis. He also mentions the Albanian language and possible reforms (Samokov, 1910 Nov 5). Ellen Richardson Baird inquires about ordering a piano for Winifred (Bulgaria, 1911 Jan 10)
