Institut Français d'Études Anatoliennes (IFEA) is a research center supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). Since 1931, the institution has been conducting interdisciplinary research focusing on Ottoman and Turkish history, archaeology, sociology, politics, and urban studies. This archive, digitized as part of the collaboration between IFEA and Salt, includes photographs taken by IFEA researchers during fieldwork between 1950 and 2000, along with a collection of publications and rare guidebooks.
