This collection includes documents, images, press clippings and the exhibition invitation pertaining to Number Fifty: Memory/Recollection II, an exhibition curated by Vasıf Kortun at building number 50 at Akaretler Row Houses in Istanbul. During the run of the project, the exhibition poster on the building was replaced by a Democrat Party banner, and in response, the curator and the participating artists decided to close the exhibition earlier than announced.
