Railway Station
The collection includes correspondence and images pertaining to the group exhibition titled GAR [Station], which was organized at the Ankara train station in 1995 within the framework of SANART’s “Art and Taboo” symposium. Put together with the initiative of artists Selim Birsel, Vahap Avşar, Claude Leon and Füsun Okutan, the exhibition was closed the day after its opening by the administration of the train station, for “upsetting public morale.”
